This forum is the place to place a post when you have put up a video on your profile or have seen a cool video on someone else's profile.

If it's your profile people can click on your name to find your profile to see the video, if it's someone else's please include the user name so people can find the page via the 'user name' search box on the 'find user' page.

You cannot post videos in this forum, just use it to tell fellow members you've posted a video on your profile, or enjoyed a video on someone else's

 HOW TO ADD A VIDEO

To add a video to your profile you need to

1. click on 'add stuff' at the top of your profile and then select the 'multimedia' box from the several options that appear and then click 'add'.

 A multimedia box will now be added to your profile (you may have to scroll to the bottom of the page to find it).

2. Click on the 'edit' option and then a big box with 'this is some html' will appear. You need to cut and paste the code for the video you want to add.

3. On YouTube, for example, the 'embed' code can be copied where it says 'embed'. Double click to select all the text in the 'embed' box and right click on the highlighted text so you can select 'copy' to make a copy of the embed code.

 4 Then delete the 'this is some html code' in your multimedia box, so the box is free to add some real code

5. Right mouse click in the blank space to the 'paste' option appears, select this and then the 'embed' code will be copied to the empty box

 6 Click 'update' to finish the process and the video will appear on your profile

 It's a lot more straightforward than it sounds.

To add another video, just repeat the process, the second time around, it's a lot easier i can assure you!
